Linda Acredolo, Ph.D., is a Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of California, Davis.

Susan Goodwyn , Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychology at California State University, Stanislaus.

Their best-selling book Baby Signs provides parents with a fun and simple step-by-step program for teaching children signs. Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn are also the authors of two other best-selling parenting titles, Baby Minds: Brain building games your baby will love (Bantum, 2000) and Baby Hearts: A guide to giving your baby an emotional head start (Bantum, Summer 2005)
